And there was silence

The porch lay silent that night, covered with the soft, endless breeze of autumn. His eyes wore a sparkling sound that lit up the darkness and ran all across his face. Too many stars to count tonight, if only I could sleep…and still I wait, and still they call, an endless road covered in yellow. If only I could sleep…and then, his hart stood still. The footsteps of the silent ran across the orchard. And, suddenly, it seemed that time itself was just the echo of a whisper, and she was finally there, all dressed in blue, with fire running her lips, like an unborn river. She smiled and the ground lay warm into the deep of his eyes. Her arms stretched over the universe, holding it up in place. Their lips broke loose…and there was silence.
